Bloody hell, is Track 40 still a thing? I grew up in Belmont and we rode that as kids nearly 30 years ago. Thanks for the trip back memory lane 😀
Good to see lots of locals! Didn't realise there was so many around here. When I first came here about 7 years back I was a bit glum about the lack of riding, but there are so many back routes and cut-throughs that I'm always finding out new routes.
I often park at a car park near Walton heath golf course. There's a gravel track that runs through the club and then you can double back across the course and head to Walton on hill or go over the m25 to the NDW. Lots of options. Not techie, but good fun if a little muddy sometimes. Can easily get to box hill and then Leith, pitch, holmbury depending on your legs.
I'd be up for a ride.
