[#6455164]

I have just picked up a second hand Chariot Captain XL child trailer, My bike has a 142x12mm Bolt Through Rear Axle although the trailer is provided with QR skewer as standard.

Have people bothered to buy the Thule Chariot Syntace X-12 142x12mm Bolt Through Rear Axle Adaptor or are there any other options?

The bike is a Five 29

Cheers

Kurt

I bought one of these and then drilled out the
existing attachment. It's worked fine.

Had similar problems with our new old chariot. You can't fit the long quick release hitch to a cowled dropout either. So I ended up buying a quick release hitch that goes around the chainstay from holland (that Madison don't import to the uk). Not sure what chain stays your bike has.

Thanks for that, the £80 for the thule one seems a bit steep, will give the traxle a go.

Thanks
