Has anyone got this? I'm looking for some views on if it's worth getting or not- from what I gather the charger 2.1 has a nicely designed high-flow piston anyway?

J-tech will be custom valving my pike soon, and this was an additional option.

I'm interested, if you do go through with this please report back.

I fitted a Diaz Runt to my Charger 2.1 Zeb and it made a huge difference.

@leegee I'm having it re-shimmed at the same time, so I'll have no idea what benefit comes from the shim tuning vs the piston, sorry 😆

Is the Runt like Manitou's IRT? I've got a mezzer on the other bike and that air system does work very nicely. Not sure I fancy another few hundred £ on the air side but it's good to know about.

@LAT thanks, yep I've seen a few already, most posts don't have much feedback and more often are about fox forks.

I went with the WPS pistons from JTech on my Charger 2.1 Pikes and it made a fairly big difference. Admittedly they’ll have played with the shims too, so I’m not sure how much is attributable to the piston

The fork felt much more responsive and less ‘blancmangey’ in the mid stroke

I ride a hard tail and on longer rides my hands were much less tired

The adjusters also now have a more usable range; before I sent it to JTech I had all compression set to fully open and not much rebound.
