Seen a lot of people have them on various pic threads - truly comfy for trail riding?

Nope, get a SDG Bel-Air from Merlin, mile miles more comfy

saddles are a very personal thing.... I like the charge spoon myself, just waiting for white to be in stock somewhere.

Great performance, very durable, reasonably light, simple, smart, comfy, and really jolly cheap - if that's not a full set of bicycle virtues then I don't know what is.

Te original Flite is still the ultimate cool saddle, but for spending the whole day on the Spoon is very hard to beat.

I liked mine a lot but it ripped up one of the seams quite quickly, and the knife I have now is going the same way and has developed a very annoying creak to boot. For the prices though it's hard to complain.

I thought both were very comfy but then I've never had a saddle I couldn't get on with, and on a brief bike swap a few weeks ago I was told I must have an ar$e of steel to put up with the knife on a HT!

For what it's worth, my Spoon is a good couple of years old now, and unmarked despite not inconsiderable abuse.
