I've got a vid of it, but not online. Rode it a couple of weeks ago, and it's ace ๐Ÿ™‚

Whatever you do, don't be a pussy and ride on the track to the side of it (especially the bit below the middle gate). Stick in the gully with the big rocks and the old tarmac. Fantastic fun.

Not too many, and they mostly take the chicken line - usually meet more MXers or 4x4s. I think it's one of the best DHs in the peaks - fairly quiet and pretty open, so you can see if anybody is coming, which in turn means you can ride it as hard as you dare - definitely worth dragging the big bike out for!

Definetly stick to the main gulley line
I've got some pics if you want me to put them up, but from 1.5-2 years ago? Wow, I thought I would've been down there more recently than that!
At a guess (and thats all it is) it'll be full of (hard) snow in the gullys if the Kinder Scout/Jacobs Ladder Loop was anything to go by 2 weeks ago

EDIT: From Monkeyspoon.com theres a set of chapelgate (the pic in the below post is from it too) from January 21st apparantly (click the pic)

One I found on a quick google.
Not that often used by ramblers, much more of a mtb trail now, as it's getting so bad it's putting off a lot of the 4x4's as well!

I was up there on tues and there was not much ridable due to the snow, it was really thick and rushup edge was mostly knee deep snow drifts. Hopefully gone by saturday as its a great downhill. Enjoy!
