chapel gate's got a TRO on to close it to motor vehilces but still open to bikes I think

That was l understanding as well. Legally closed to motor vehicles, not physically closed to cyclists.

I rode up it last weekend. It's certainly open.

Must be the TRO that's back in place I'm thinking of....
Was sure I'd read it was shut for mending again, obviously not

There's a County Council imposed temporary TRO in place and when it ceases PDNPA will impose a permanent TRO. It's open to bikes but not 4x4 or motorcycles.
