I have recently changed from 3 to 2 and I am having trouble setting up the mech, I also have a bash guard on.

I also have a deore front mech and x7 front shifter.
Is there any tips to set it up or or 2 click shifters and front mech?

Just fitted the deore version of the them cranks, set up went fine with my slx shifters, but my mech was a bit of a pain it was slx m660 for triple ring and although I managed to make it work it wasn't great, going to fit a new slx m665 double specific front mech this week. My brother has your crankset and m665 mech and had no issues with set up up or in use.
You can use your existing 3spd front mech and shifter fine. All you really need to do is set the top limit screw quite far in, so there's no longer the ability to shift the front mech into the 3rd ring space if you get me.
If it's a triple mech then set it up at the same height as you would if there was a big ring on and just set the limit on the mech to stop it trying to get past click 2.
It works fine, though the proper double specific mech works just a little nicer.
