Had to cancel my trip in early Jan as mates told me they were stuck inside due to blizzard forecast to last 5 days (it did) ! Zermatt for week of 28th. Some of my best days ever have been in the mountains with the kids.

Get a grip !!! Its one week without your bike but you will be riding your board (spending time on your arse whilst learning).I bet your daughter kicks your arse 😯 You will love it once it all clicks into place, trust me I,m a Yorkshire man.

Forget the pants, buy some wrist guards!

I'm out in Steamboat at the mo, you'll forget your bike the first time you hit the powder 🙂

chamonix - full of phenomenal off-piste possibilities - amazing place.

stick to Brevent and Flegere as there primarily South facing and nice and warm when the sun's out.

grand montets is my fave hill in the area - may be a bit too much if this is your 1st week though.

great bar in town too that serves it's own micro brews.

We're going to be there on the 1st Feb. Can't wait as I've never skiied there before.

was real fun learning. was awesome to ride in the alps with my mates and my daughter.

Jedi, I saw your pics on Facebook, was very tempted to leave a comment about your body positioning and where you where looking 😉
Incidentally I just had a great ride at llandegla today, mainly thanks to new wider bars and your training finally, after 7 months, seemingly starting to have effect!

Tbh I thought you had done it before from some of the comparisons you made to biking when teaching me

i tried 6yrs ago for a day then bust myself on day 2. my daughter wanted to learn so off we went. i just applied what i do when riding/coaching = sweet 🙂
