There's a handful of shops hiring bikes in Chamonix. Just wondered if anyone had any personal recommendations... for or against.

zero g would be my choice,probably not the cheapest, but usually up to date solid bikes, nice lads too.

If you're up in Argentiere you'll find Sherpa Sports much cheaper than either Zero G or Legends. Free train or bus will get you there.
Avoid Intersport...
