[#11947969]

Had an unfortunate event today where I lost the lower non-drive side dropout bolt and square nut from the dropout of my SC Chameleon. Anyone know where to source the nut/bolt from other than the whole dropout kit? I've found the following online, but it's based in the US...

I can't seem to find similar M8x10 allen headed bolts in the UK, anyone got any ideas?

Cheers!

I'd email Jungle.
They've sent me bolts and small stuff before and are very helpful.

We use these guys a lot for work and can normally get most fasteners from them. Postage might be a bit steep it you're just buying one or two single screws/nuts but might be a decent bet if you can't find them elsewhere.

I've contacted Stif (who I think are Jungle in disguise) and they have nothing alas. I will email Jungle separately though...

Recently sold my Chameleon so I cant have a look to check but I seem to remember the drop out bolts were "low Head" cap screws like this ..

Older parts are a nightmare, I had to buy my Chameleon 5 geared dropouts NOS from a private seller in the US last year.

If its just the hardware I don't think it should be too difficult to source something, it's not Marzocchi QR20 levels of obscurity!

Hi if you ordered the bolts I posted the link to, in the pic you can see 12.9 stamped on the head. Thats the tensile strength a basic bolt is 8.8 the 12.9 is about s good as you will get so should be more than strong enough.

For anyone else reading I lost the square nut on my 2017 chameleon dropouts and got replacements from accu linked above. They have the other screws too.
