Hi,
I recently got fed up with the Velcro chainstay protectors moving around and slipping on the frame when riding.
Managed to cloth tape the cross bike and its been working well.
Occasionally when cleaning it peels off.
Is there anything on the market more permanent,3m strip or something?
Fancy doing the other bikes while I'am at it.

Helitape always works for me.
I've used an old inner tube for years, zip tied at each end. Works well & cheap.
Bar Tape.
Get the £4 cheap stuff and wrap, wrap away.

amalgam tape
Inner tube wrapped like bar tape. Start at the rear and work your way forward. Add a couple of zipties in behind the chainring(s) and you're done.

Adhesive backed velcro, really sticky and helps dampen the sound of chain slap.
I found old Stan's/Joe's rubber rim strips work well too - the rubbers thicker than inner tubes and because it's a single thickness the results are more even too.
Helicopter tape. Buy it from your LBS.
I've just applied some silicon(e?) self-fusing tape which I reckon will do a good job. This was just from B&Q but I've bought bike-specific stuff in the past that has worked well.
