I think Chainspotting has aged quite a lot but Dirt still seems quite fresh (with the obvious exception of Jez Avery at the quarry).

I think in Chainspotting they look like they are trying to be "gnar" where as in Dirt it still looks like a bunch of mates having fun on their bikes. And JMC, RIP, still oozes "cool" even now.

I've got a copy of Dirt in a box somewhere. My lad, when he was a toddler used to like watching it as a change from Thomas the Tank Engine.And so did I.

Martyn Ashton makes the other riders look lame in Chainspotting.

have just watched all of chainspotting and dirt.must admit to liking dirt more.i had never seen the original dirt before (i have the remastered one that mbuk gave away around 10 years after it was first released)but the original is much better (especially the music ๐Ÿ˜€
