Hi, I've bent my chain ring and it's clicking interminably! Does it matter which one I order as long as it has the same number of teeth? I'm using sram mech and shifters so will a shimano chain ring work OK?

You buy a chain ring that suits your brand of chainset.

The big ring (Which I've removed a while back) odds a truvativ if that helps?

So do I have to get another truvativ?

It's the middle ring that needs replacing. Currently running double and bash, but an switching back to 3x10 when I fit new middle ring. Cranks are truvativ x9.

You can buy a different brand of rings but they need to be Truvativ/Sram compatible.

Right, OK so am I right in thinking that if the truvativ ones are marked 104 BCD and are 4 bolt, and a superstarone is marked 104 etc, then they're compatible or am I looking at the wrong details?

Why can't it all just be easy!?
