I'm running 1x9 and looking at changing my front chain ring because its getting rather worn, I will also swap out the cassette as that is also on the way out, and whilst I'm at it I might as well get a new chain.
However I have a conundrum, quandary, niggle in the back of my mind, my current chain ring is 32 tooth with 73(possibly74/75)mm centres, I am wanting to swap it for the same size however all the 32 tooth chain rings I've found have been 104mm centres.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Cheers for looking,
David.
Are you confusing hole to hole with bolt circle diameter (BCD)?

A "standard" four bolt chainring has a BCD of 104mm, and a hole-to-hole measurment of 73.6mm. It sounds like you need a 104mm BCD chainring, which gives you a massive range of choice, depending on your budget and requirements.
That's great raisinhat, your right, I was getting confused and I do need 104mm and I have a decent idea of which one i'll get.
Thanks for your help, the link was very useful.
