Do I need extra long chainring bolts to run one of [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=12167 ]THESE[/url]...?
(It mentions 16mm, is that extra extra long ?)

'Standard' would be around 10mm for the bolt and 8mm for the slotted nut. Poly guards tend to use longer bolts, like [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=46947 ]these[/url].
