Can anyone recommend a good cheap 11 speed NW 32t chainring have been running Absolute black which has been great but the prices seem to have rocketed since I paid £18.
Thanks in advance.
Not going to recommend anything specific, don't do narrow-wide myself, but how long has your Absolute Black one lasted? Decent chainflrings are worth the money IMHO, last longer and don't cause the rest of the drive chain to wear out sympathetically.
Blackspire Snaggletooth here - about 1500 miles with no real sign of wear - cost about £25. Chain Reaction often have them discounted to less than that if you’re not fussy about colour.
Yep, I'd get another Absolute Black if I were you. I've had cheaper options and found them to wear quicker and drop chains more often (ie at all).
If you want low price then the MOTSUV narrow wide 32t chainrings on Aliexpress are pretty good if you can deal with the wait.
I'll second works. Lasted longer than anything that isn't steel and overbuilt.
Aye, Works are superior to Absolute Black ime- not as pretty, but better retention.
I put the absolute cheapest one on ebay on one of my bikes recently, it's going fine so far.
Rideworks have a sale on right now
Another vote for Works chainrings. Have run an oval NW on my FS for the last few years with no issues at all and will be getting another for my SS soon.
What fitment / offset? You can get the SRAM direct mount steel chainrings for around £10-20.. e.g. 32T 3mm offset is £11.45 on Amazon.
Cheers everyone for the advice went for works now just got to get some bolts...
