Just wondering if there would be an easy way of stopping/quietening the ridiculous chain slap on my Trance.
I was thinking removing a few links from the chain but wold this effect the shifting?

Otherwise removing a few links will help, but check it shifts ok when in the higher range of the cassette on the the largest ring. You may have to adjust the b-tension a bit.

Wrap the chainstay bartape fashion with an innertube. Otherwise buy a shadow +.
