Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing some slowness with the normally excellent CRC? An order I placed on 1st Jan is still showing as processing, and one I ordered earlier on today with next-day delivery is the same.

Cheers, Rich

I ordered some stuff over the weekend and got confirmation that it was dispatched today, so good as usual for me.

They've probably been overwhelmed by my tidal wave of orders

They have a list you know

It's the time of year, I ordered something on Boxing Day after getting vouchers and it only got delivered on Sat.

yep a bit slow for me. Put in an order on the 28th and only just received the dispatch email.

I did also send them a gentle hurry up email last night. No idea if it worked or its just a coincidence.

I ordered something boxing day. It was shipped out New Years Eve for standard delivery by Royal Mail. Hasn't arrived yet and wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't land till Wednesday this week.

Ordered on the 30th. Only just received dispatch notice so a little slow but to be expected with non working days and staff on holiday.

Maybe I'm unlucky but in my experience they're always slow. I've ordered a fair few bits from them lately and always take around a week or so to turn up, even with a "guaranteed next day" delivery, ordered at 9am.

Their customer service team are very helpful though and in fairness you can't knock their prices.

Slow for me too. 3 orders over xmas and NY. At least a week for each to arrive. Longer than usual IME.

I don't care how long it takes - £600 off a set of wheels is amazing 🙂

Ordered a new BB earlier, paid extra for the priority delivery as it's rather buggered, but not looking good. Boo.

They let me down on a next day delivery last week. It only just arrived today. Would have messed my long weekend off work big time if it wasn't for a favour from a friend.

CRC no problem for me, despatched today for something I ordered a couple of days ago so not too bad.
I do however have an issue with bike-discount.de at the moment, although they shipped fairly quickly (ordered 26th, shipped a couple of days later) its been stuck at "handed over" or "forwarded for export" for 6 days now with no tracking updates at all, I fear its lost but they insist its just because of the holidays, we'll see!

Backlog from Xmas I think. I had my next day delivery refunded last week.

Yup, put in an order on the 28th of Dec and it's only just shipped today. Assumed it was a xmas backlog.

Working days, innit. You can't place an order for next working day delivery on a bank holiday or over a weekend, generally. We had a few over the annual two week zombie apocalypse- one ordered on Boxing Day, with an email on Saturday asking "where's my stuff?"... 😆

one ordered on Boxing Day, with an email on Saturday asking "where's my stuff?".

I can beat that, came in to work on the 28th, chap had emailed asking me for a price for something on Xmas day, chased on boxing day, then sent another snippy email ccing my boss on the Sunday asking when he would get a response. (admittedly he wasn't from the UK, but still a Christian country (Denmark) )

Ordered on 29th and just checked my status...processing. Very similar to my order this time last year (which took 7 days), I really should have called in to the shop as it's only 10 mins drive away but i was feeling festively lazy.

On average most stuff I've ordered in the last few months has taken a day longer than it used to. I figured it was a ploy to get folk to shell out for next day delivery

@p7rich , yep I usually have no problems, this is just weird, I will give it a couple more days, though as it's been stuck on that tracking point for 6 days I can't see it changing in all honesty.

Update on earlier post, parts were waiting when I got home tonight. So 3 days after shipping by normal mail, which is not too bad.

Ordered on new years eve, here today, same for Merlins. Typically stuff is here within 4 working days, so I'd say better than normal.

They sent me an order for a guy in France. Rang them up to let them know and have ended up with my order shipped twice. Now the proud owner of a spare set of XT trail
Pedals and some SPD boots...

Looks like they are back to normal now. I put an order in yesterday evening and have a dispatch email this morning.

Seems like it was just a post xmas backlog.
