Chain pip - as suggested in the last issue

Orange bikes used to put them on their frames. Not sure if they still do but its such a handy little feature

They certainly were handy in the days of QRs but these days I stick the through axle back in before I lose it and let the chain hang over that.  Though I suppose they still have their use for holding the chain up as you put the wheel back in.

My custom frame has one and I never use it.  It's not really necessary with the cage lock on Sram mechs. May be a different story with Shimano though.

Anyway, it weighs nothing, and definitely made putting my wheel in easier, so it's a win in my eyes 😉

Yes, I miss a chain pip. I realised my new Wo had a rack mount in just the right place!

My two classic steel bikes have them. Handy flinging the bike in the boot on race days with the pip.

My RockLobster has one, but I've realised I've probably never remembered it was there when I could have made use of it.
