got the gamut chain device on my alpine, been on since i bought the bike, thinking of getting a new bashing anyway cause the one on now is looking tired, mite get rid of the chain device also , feel like its getting in the way sometimes, would this make a difference if i got rid of the chain device? thx.

difference to what? If you took it off theres a greater chance your chain will come off

well thats all i thought but i thought would it make the chain a bit slacker as well?
