Hi
I am in need of a bb for my anthem 29er, press fit bb92 I believe.
I googled ceramic bb and came up with a unity one from fix cycles.
Anyone one got reviews of a ceramic bb.
Thanks in advance.

I've got a cripplingly expensive FSA one on my road bike, thankfully it was cheep and 2nd hand.

+ lasting forever, I expect I'll bin the chainset/bike before it wears at this rate.

- the plastic shields have come appart, and the rubber seals are FUBAR'd by being squashed/torn by the mangled plastic shield.

I don't know how long it'll last in the state it's in (2 years so far), but I'd expect a steel one to have given up by now. But off road I'd probably expect it to fall appart quicker and then promptly die once copious ammounts of grit get in, even My ChrisKing steel BB did that, once the seal went it just fell apaprt. So I'm sceptical for bike use, I don't reckon the hardness of the bearing matters beyond a point that's not how they wear out, the seals fail and crap gets in. So a good known brand would seem a better bet.
