[#7373179]

just found this :

2016 version

looks like they've swopped out the carbon fork back to steel, changed the paint and tyres (quite like those Clements) and dropped the price a bit.

Glad I have the 2015 one I think 🙂

Seems quite pricey for steel frame & fork with 105 groupset?

I was thinking about getting one of these but keeping it at same price as 2015 but downgrading to a steel fork is a bit weak IMO...
Makes the Pinnacle Arkose look like the better buy - that's mainly 105 too
Evans currently have the Stainless 2015 version for £1874 too

That colour is lovely though. But yeah, the steel fork is a massive downgrade IMO. There's a new 1x11 Sram version with hydro discs at £1499 as well (Called the CdF Decade). And a Ti one too!

I don't really see their logic, as I reckon the carbon fork is pretty good and takes out a lot of the buzz. It was always expensive at RRP, but LBS's could usually knock a bit off, to make it competitive with the Pinnacle's - not so sure with the new spec tho..

I dithered about the Stainless one when buying the 30, but was put off by the press fit BB...
