Following the recent publicity with unsponsored riders using this I've been having a look at it. Expensive compared to jerseys but more sensible compared top jackets, anyone using one? Looks good for road bike and cx but too warm for mtb?
Yeah, great bit of kit - can get a bit hot racing in slightly milder conditions but water resistance super in the wet. Sizing needs to be fitted to get most benefit though.
Yup, I've got one and it is a fantastic bit of kit - even in recent cold conditions I've worn it with just a merino base layer underneath and it's been nice and warm, with rain seemingly just running off it.
Expensive yes, but so far seems a lovely bit of kit - just be careful with sizing though like with any Castelli. I'm a medium in almost any garment but had to get a large Gabba
Is the best jacket I've owned.
Are you guys using long or short sleeves?
Even that nob ed David Millar likes them, enough said.
Have both but get more use from the SS
