Had a little service on my bike , seized cartridge bearing , i stripped the free hub , cassette , knocked out the Cartridge then bearing race. Then i white spirited the lot, followed by wd 40 ,a light oil then molyslip and left the bearings periodically moving the races inside the cartridge , put back together with a light white grease and all back together - nice evenings work . very pleased with my self tonight . Not bad for a chef ??

I smell a bit of oil but i'm on gardening leave so not too bothered , got to go for an interview tomorrow so ill swarfega my self nicely up ?
I changed the bearings in my road bike at the weekend; it all went fine except for not realising the rear axle isn't quite symmetrical, so after putting it all back together and discovering a wonky axle I had to basically do it all over again! Bah...
