Please can anyone recommend a proper ride around this area. I don;t particularly want to ride round the reservoir or up and down disused railway lines..

I would recommend a ride a few miles to the north in the hope valley!
Matlock,Darley Dale,Chatsworth,Youlgrave,Worlds ya lobster.
Black Rocks, Crich, Ambergate all have great trails
