Went for mtb ride, no rain, cooling temperature, known route. Fell off into a stream, wet gloves 😭. Carried on riding, hands got colder, wished I'd been carrying my spare full finger gloves. I've plenty of options in my glove collection but none in my rucksack. Made it home with freezing hands and the pain of warming them up.
The end 😭

Got a new frame due in March, was sposed be arriving in jan.
This has extended the window of buying shit I don’t really need, as a result I have justifying the expense to myself of 2x stainless steel cages with posh tool Bidens just because I can keep a spare set of dry gloves in them that I will probably never need.

I too have a collection - 5 pairs, 6 if you count some silk inners (they’re also used for skiing so really 6 1/2 for biking).

Not sure but there will be one less pair in a drawer the next time I head out 🧤
What if you fall off into a stream twice, should carry two spare pairs just in case.

Without getting them out and counting them, easily 20 pairs, maybe more.
Still not found a better spring/autumn pair than the original PX Roubaix gloves.

Latest ones (in post) are Planet-x lobster glove things for sub zero rides.
I reckon I've got at least 25, probably 30 including motorcycling, working and walking gloves. I think I need help ....
