Hi all,
I have just relocates to South Wales with my job and am looking for some groups that do mid week rides in the area.
I remember reading a similar post a while back that I think mentioned a group that rode from Caerphilly. However, probably due to my numptiness, I can not find it.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Also if anybody knows of any good Ogmore Valley rides I would appreciate the knowledge as this would be right on my doorstep.

If you are based in Ogmore Valley, pop in to see Colin at [url= http://www.rushcycles.co.uk/ ]Rush Cycles[/url] just down the road in Brynmenyn, great bloke and they have a ride out on Sunday mornings, which will help you find your way around various areas, I'm just up the road in Blackmill.
There are a bunch of us riding a bit further west of Cardiff most Weds PM- tend to use Facebook to arrange it- Search Facebook for Amman and Swansea Valley MTB. You may need to be on FB first though.
There are also quite a few riders in Cardiff who post here regular like.

Check out Garw Valley Mountain Bike Club on Facebook - they meet most Wednesdays for a night ride either near Pontycymer or at Afan. I'm new to the group and have found them to be a most friendly bunch.
hi bud,we ride around the blackwood/caerphilly area meet most wednesdays. you also got the miggle moos in machen who meet on a wednesday just check out their web page. also castle bikes have a shop ride on a wednesday or thursday i think just ring them. check mtbwales for local rides
I can recommend the Cardiff Wednesday night ride group = made me feel very welcome when I was visiting the area - thanks guys!!

Thanks for all of the feedback. I am only here in the week and can only ride in the evenings.
I will check out all of the Links / Suggestions.
My normal riding is around the Peterborough area where the only hills that I get to climb are flyovers and bridges so my stamina levels will need some work!
