Just today bought my GF an ex demo ibis mojo to replace her aging meta 4.1.
She is really happy with the build(full x0/xtr etc) and how it rides but I think I'm being paranoid about the clearcoat finish. There are a few air bubbles and areas where the clear coat has rubbed through.
In your opinions do you think I have anyhing to worry about or is it just cosmetic? The guys in the shop didn't even mention it and I've got a full warranty on the frame and all parts.

You'll need a replacement. A batch of these was produced in 08 and have had cosmetic finish flaws. Contact Ibis, they're aware of the issue.
Ibis customer service is second to none. I had a bit of bubbling in the clearcoat on my swingarm so sent some photos to Ibis. I got an email the next day from Scot Nicol (Mr Ibis) and they sent me a new swingarm straight away.
Cheers guys, I've emailed them so I'll await a response.
I'm just hoping the fact it was a demo won't effect anything!
(Mr MC posting)
serves you right for dropping all the B/F's on here in it by raising the bar too much. MC got an ally SLX-kitted hardtail off me and will damn well like it! ๐
