If it’s says max load single wheel 100kg, can I assume that in theory that’s total load 200kg across 2 wheels?
I get that it won’t truly be 200kg and nor will load always (or maybe ever) be evenly spread.
But if me plus bike is nearer 120kg will I be ok? I don’t do airborne so loading on the wheel should be spread across both.
Or does the post Xmas diet need start in earnest?

I've had no issues with my several sets of Nextie rims, they're really good.
Except smashing a fatbike rim, but not fair to blame the rim in that instance...
The only issues I’ve have when being ‘close’ to limits was pulling a rear spoke through the rim bed, no from bad landings or abuse, but I suspect due to the extra torque required to move a lump slowly up a steep hill!
Buy from a manufacturer who has a higher limit?
Used and deal done. Only time will tell if a light Carbon xc rim to carry me and the bikes weight was wise. Until then I can bask in the glory of silly light wheel weight.
