[#4850594]

Found some damage on my frame, not sure if its just paint damage or something more sinister.

It's a Trek remedy 9.7 2011.

Any thoughts?

That looks like it's taken quite a whack. My worry there would be that there is de-lamination on the inside. Does the area feel soft at all?

As discussed in another thread about carbon, you could do a basic tap test on the area and listen for any change. The problem is there is that that area has quite a few changes in section and shape which may affect what you hear. Worth a try though, before you start stripping paint and and looking for your local NDT firm ๐Ÿ˜‰
