I've had pre-cut carbon fibre frame protection patches before, but does anyone sell them as sheets for self-cutting? I've tried Googling but seem to get swamped with cosmetic 'carbon effect' vinyl sheets for tarting up cars.

I have some for the forks on my trials motorcycle. Im sure the trials supply shops sell it

This is what you want. It's tough to cut but can be done neatly with sharp scissors and is very sticky. Helps to warm it up first if sticking it to a curved surface.
