Hello has anyone tried these, if so are they as good as the website claims.

Doesn't look like there's any seal external to the sealed bearing unit. Maybe if you pump it full of grease it'll keep the gunk away from the cartridge bearing seals. If you get it muddy they may well be dead in a month.

Ceramic bearings? Pointless for non high-speed applications. Spend you money on something better sealed if you want it to last.

My money would go on Deore<XT<Hope depending on budget.

All IMHO of course.

just out of interest, why is this? I thought that ceramics and stainless races were used due to resistance to corrosion rather than anything else? Corrosion being the main factor for knackering bearings.
