[Closed] Car rack advice for Mondeo

[#3118437]

I'm looking to get a new rack for my car (Mondeo - current shape). It needs to take at least two bikes and be simple and secure to put up (I'm trusting my wife to pack the car and pick me up in Manchester on our way to the Lakes in a couple of weeks...)
Any advice/recommendations? The Saris Bones thing looks handy.

No. Sadly. The child and luggage would complain...

if only 1 seat up you can get bikes in a mondeo with just front wheel off pretty easily

otherwise no idea, I'd only put bikes on a towbar mounted rack

Well. Thanks for being interested but I promise you that there is no room for bikes and luggage, including all the accoutrements for taking a baby to the Lakes for a long weekend, in the back of a Mondeo.
Think I'll just buy me a Saris from Wiggle.

I can recommend the saris bones, you can get an adaptor too if your full suss or lasses bike doesn't fit. It has left the odd mark on bike and car though.
