Hi, I am thinking of going down in the new year to see if I can get an ex fleet bargain. Anyone else done this and did it work out for you?

I fugure that if I save money on the car it goes into the bike fund!
I was always advised that unless you really know your stuff that it was risky and not always that cheap.

Never done it but a colleague's 3.0TDi Audi A6 (with 78k on the clock) went for 3800! I think there is about 10% of fees on top and you get a very short time to inspect the car before you are stuffed. If you have a friendly mechanic and are serious about buying it may pay to cover a day of his time to take him with you.

I went to the BCA at Enfield to suss it out and quickly decided it wasn't for me.
Very confusing, full of Arfur Daley characters and I decided I couldn't bring myself to buy a car without driving it.
Bought 3 cars from the Bushe. Its a lottery even if you are in the game.
