Forum - looking for educated opinions on the Canyon Strive, looking at Canyon's website the 2012 8.0ES model looks like alot of bike for the money, but how do they ride?
Also keen to know what peoples views are on 160mm travel in the UK - ride mainly northern england trail centres plus regular trips to the lakes and annual 'lads' week away in the Alps, Highlands etc.
There was a review in the last issue of dirt if you can get hold of it. Got a good write up.
I've had one for the past 7 months. Fantastic bike for going up or down, amazing spec for the money and reasonably light weight too. Watch your sizing though, if you manage to read the Dirt review, I agree entirely - the cockpit length on the mediums slightly short. If you're 5'10 or over I'd go Large.
