I have a "base model " Nerve 29er on order. Seems it won't be ready in December as initially indicated (no, really?) but March. What to do?
1. Suck it up and wait - it's still a great bike for the money.
2. Give in to impatience and buy an Orbea Occam TR for the same money, but with slightly less spangly components
3. Go totally off piste and buy a suddenly fashionable 27.5+ - namely an Orbea Loki in rather lovely sky blue?
Have at it, STW hive mind. Accepting that in all cases the answer will be "none of the above"...
Don't know because we're all different, but I would ask if you don't wait, how much and for how long after buying your second choice bike might you wish you had, waited, whereas if you do wait you've only got two months max of wishing you hadn't!
i wouldnt wait , ive been waiting for a bike (strive )since sept , delayed every week ,now end of jan so i cancelled today , whos to say it wont be delayed in march again ,but only you can know !
