[Closed] Canyon BB86 and Rotor 3D+ issue

Today I have been swearing and wishing I'd not bought a Canyon Inflite frameset to build up. Seriously if someone wants to buy a Large then say.

One of the several problems I am having is that I bought a Rotor 3D+ crankest, and the correct Rotor 4130 ceramic bearings to fit in the frame yet when the crank is slid through there is not enough axle sticking through for the driveside to attach correctly. Even removing the threaded spacer from the non-driveside does not leave enough axle sticking through.
Instead there seems to be too much material on the driveside/spider preventing the driveside crank from fitting. The space between crankarms and chainstays is uneven leaving me to wonder if there is a way of removing and changing the driveside spider, or fitting a longer axle?
Or if there's no chance at all of using the Rotor crank with that frame.

Any help would be appreciated.

According to the manual there should only be a 0.5mm plastic washer on each side.

Yes I have the thin washers, but there is not enough axle to locate the drive side crank on. Even with the threaded adapter removed from the non-drive side.

Ignore the power bit.Does the backside of the spider look like this?

There is a difference between the back of the spider and the image you posted; notice that mine has a convex dished part. This looks like it should be removeable but I'm not sure what would go in it's place, or if it would provide enough clearance. The Rotor 4130 bearings sit proud of the bottom bracket and I think is adding to the problem, yet it's supposed to be the correct one.

I think you are in need of a new tape measure

The tape is fine, it's the crank and frame causing the head scratching.

Hmm...more research turns up that my crank appears to have the Cervelo lockring on, which acts as a spacer.

Now to purchase the normal lockring and of course the Rotor tool...Anyone got one I can borrow for a fee?
