I've done tyres with lighter fluid, it's ridiculously satisfying but it does seem like a pretty decent way to get maimed, too. Some of those dudes in the second video didn't get up by themselves...
Watched a bit of the second link not knowing what was to come then switched it off, not quite sure why you would want to watch a vid of people appearing to be quite badly hurt.
Compressed air is not to be ****ed with. The worst part is when the wheel gives them some afters when they're down!
Was surprised there was enough force to split wheels at the join, albeit mostly with heavy plant tyres.
The lesson I've taken from those 2 videos is that the fire method seems safer
