Anyone got one? If so what's it like? Thinking about pressing the button as a replacement for my Spicy.
I've been pondering an all-mountain 29er for the past few months and narrowed it down to the C'Dale Trigger and Transition Covert 29. I couldn't decide between them as they for me, are the best long-travel 29ers out there at the moment. I've ended up going for the Covert, but the Trigger struck me as being an awesome bike too so you wont go wrong. I've got a C'dale Flash Alloy 29er hardtail and it is a great bike so you won't be disappointed.
Had a chat with the Cannondale rep up at Mountain Trax's demo day (unable to ride due to being a cretin on skis). I'm not a Fox fork lover so hesitant with regards to the Trigger 2 so keeping my fingers crossed that an XL Trigger 1 will be made available in this country.
Also spoke to MT about a Tallboy LT but really, really finding it hard to justify paying through the nose for an SC so that option is ruled out.
Have an XL 29er Scalpel - awesome bike but a little light for mountain duties
I bought a Trigger 29er 2 about three weeks ago. Great Bike. Climbs really well in 80mm mode. I go down hills faster than ever before, The bike absorbs all the bumps at 130mm. Very stiff. I nick named the bike "beer goggles" because it lets you do things you never thought possible. The bike has increased my confidence level. It is really well put together.
Thanks for the review.
Pressed the button on a Trigger 1 yesterday. Cannondale are bringing an XL into the country for me so a big thanks to them and Dave Page.
It will be good to see how it compares against the Spicy. At the moment Jambo13 is 2-0 up with his Tallboy Carbon
Some Dale' action
The bike has finally landed.
Not sure about the Crest wheels with my 110kg weight but they have been warned.
Dropper come with the remote which is nice.
