I'm thinking of buying this bike for sportives, as I've entered the dragon ride and my current bike is not up to the job, due to the fit.

I had an Ali one and it was really comfy it was just a basic model but was nice to ride. I swapped it for a cyclo-cross bike but if I went back to pure road I wouldn't hesitate to get another.
I've got the entry level carbon and I really like it. It's comfy (higher bars) and the rear end does seem to have some give in it.
I looked at alternatives but they had a more racing position and also wanted a triple (shh don't tell anyone else)
