[#2611387]

Just building one up when it came to the cable for the front mech.....
The frame uses cable guides which has inserts. One of which allows you to run full cable through and one which stops the outer cable but allows the inner to continue through.

I have run full cable on the rear mech and obviously brake but I need an insert to stop the outer for the front mech.

Does any lovely person have a spare lying around that they could kindly post on for Friday ( heading to Wales) or does anyone know of anywhere that stocks them? They seem hard to come by looking on the net!

Many thanks in advance!

Simon

Off the top of my head what you need is a Cannondale kit #KF014(2 PK). Got one but that's my spare, sorry.

I found Chelmer Cycles really helpful in finding the pathetic and irritating and expensive Cannondale cable guide plastic tat bits for my Prophet, give them a ring.

Made one out of the inner part of a chainring bolt to act as the cable stop and some a little tube to keep it in line with the stop. No pics sorry as the frame has moved on.

Ask for ferrules at a Cannondale dealer. Last time I needed some Ken Fosters' in Chorlton, South Manchester had some.

Or bodge with electrical tape.

Pete,

The eBay item is for the holders as opposed to the stops.
Thanks for the help though.
