My Bro-in-law has a lefty fork that he says loses pressure over the course of a week, but no LBS will touch it. Are they really that complicated? Anyone done a DIY service on once and has done tips?
Need special tools to get inside 'em, which most bike shops won't have, so will need to go to a Cannondale dealer to get fixed.
That's Cannondales' major flaw; non-user serviceable parts. Spensive to have stuff sorted.
Where abouts are you?
Send it to Alf Jones in Wrexham... They'll square you away..
Or send it to TFTuned?
Lots of guides for self servicing the lefty on MTBR's Cannondale forums, for servicing by a specialist get in touch with Tony @ Thumbprint tuning - he'll deal with the older ones that TF Tuned don't do. Though I believe Noah's arc also work on them too
If you come to Alf Jones for the servicing, B is the man you need to speak too. He'd be servicing it.
He's the bomb diggity at Cannondale forks 01978 854300 if you wanna have a chat about it.
I think he'll be in tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice folks. Bro-in-law is in Sheffield. I'll let him know.
