Been looking at buying one of the above!
Does anyone own or has ridden a jekyll!what do you think?
Looking to upgrade from anthem x4,like the fact that the shock is adjustable!
Love xc riding, but also enjoy a bit trail with the odd downhill jobby, the anthem is now getting a bit tired
so been looking into something new!
Any advice appreciated.

Nice looking bike. Tally from uplift Scotland is racing on one says it's the muts nuts so can't be a bad bike at all
Thanks Potts,
Thought i'd get a bit more feedback, obviously not a lot of owners out there.
Thought about the five pro,but think it may be a bit of a pogo ride on the xc and climbs!!!
Gonna test ride the pro,but unsure where to get a jeykll test ride??
G'Day Jonny,
I own a 2011 Jekyll 3 and absolutely adore it.
It truly is my go to bike for all my mountain
biking. The adjustability truly does give you
the feeling of two bikes in one. I haven't ridden
an Anthem x4, but I'd imagine some of the largest
differences straight up would be weight, and durability.
Mine sits at 14.2kg at the moment, with dropper post,
1x10 chain guide, and more dh oriented stem and bars.
I believe there is a lot of weight to be lost in the 2011s wheel
setup. With that being said this bike handles everything I throw
at it so far. I've spent weeks in New Zealand riding the DH tracks
through Christchurch and working the Park in Queenstown. All
without any problems. I have asked Chris Van Dine himself
about the Jekylls, and he was explaining that with the larger
oil reservoirs in the rear shock it doesn't heat up and effect
the damping as some smaller units do on downhills? Although
he is a sponsored to ride the Jekyll's so he may be a bit biased ๐
Only wish I spent a bit more to get the carbon frame though for future longevity/upgrades.
Hope this helps somewhat. ๐
They will be on Demo this weekend: http://www.hargrovescycles.co.uk/main.asp?sitepages=events-2012-qe-cyclefest
If you can wait that long.
Hey Jonny, im guessing you are the Jonny that i am buying some porsche seats from? If so i work in a bike shop that sells cannondale. We currently have a Jekyll 3 and a Jekyll Hi-mod 2 in stock. They are both on sale at the moment. If you are interested give me a call any time.

All the best, Jon ๐
Nice website - cozmobozo! I really like the idea of these jekylls, but have read mixed reviews. But the adaptability is just what I would love. I guess there is a weight disadvantage though for using them as XC bike?
Yea obviously they are at a disadvantage in comparison to an xc bike. In my opinion what they offer is an all mountain that gives you the remote adjustability to make it climb a bit more like a short travel bike would. I think they would be very good at what they are designed to do. I'd certainly like to have one sometime
