thinking bout buying a carbon flash 4 2012 model,a very light bike by the looks, but the look of that fatty front fork,,,ermmm.anyone got one?would like to know how it copes with the rough stuff, its only got 80mm travel.or is this bike more of a kinda hybrid, more for road use?id have prefered the lefty.which ive had on a previous bike and it worked well for me,but thats a heap load more cash on top, sending the bike deep into other premium models.any help would be appreciated cheers

Its a full on XC carbon race bike frame, with a fork to match. A mate has its predecessor, the taurine as his main bike and loves it.

Its deffinitly not a bike for road use, although you could use it on the road, its made for going very quickly round a XC course.

All depends on what kind of riding you do. For the record I used to ride headshoks all the time untill i could afford a lefty. A more bombproof fork you will not find ๐Ÿ™‚

i had the lefty pbr with 100mil travel on my previous bike a 2009 flash f1 alloy which i loved. To upgrade to a lefty is just too steep,i was looking for a full sus this time around and just got drawn in to a flash again, think im a bit of a weight weenie, and a sucker for carbon

really struggling to cope with that fatty fork tho with only having 80mil travel, and not a real looker like the lefty front end.
wonder how much second hand leftys are fetching and if theres a market to sell the fatty fork to,then id be more than happy.
