I've got a cannondale 29SS which I love but the ration is to spinny so after an 18t for the rear. Could anyone point me in the rite direction as not sure the correct type and best make etc.

Just got a superstar one for the exact same bike. Have used theirs before, cheap steel one is fine. But realised I don't have a singlespeed lockring tool so it's sat in the shed waiting.
How are you liking the bike? Just ordered a big fat tyre for the front, otherwise love mine.

Loving it so far can't believe such a fun bike for the price tag. Just need to gear it different and change the brakes then I'll be a happy lad!
Love to see some pics ? I'm poised to order one of these and have slx brakes to go on as I'd heard the stock brakes were a bit poor ?
It's a 2014 I'll be getting and they look very nice indeed .. I did think the stock gearing looked bit low but I have a few spare cogs so I'm sorted 🙂

The brakes aren't as bad as I was expecting. Lovely frame and forks, wheels are great and already taped for tubeless. Good tyres too, but I am fitting a 2.4 on the front.

I have the wheels off the previous model. I just use a big screwdriver to knock the lock ring round to loosen/tighten. Shameful I know.

So, just for info, I changed my sprocket to an 18 and fitted an On-One chunky monkey 2.4 to the front and it has transformed the bike. Running about 20psi tubeless it is such a smooth ride. This evening was a 15 miler with about 1500ft of climbing, and aside from the obvious hoofing up the steep bits it was a joy to ride. I genuinely think I could ride this all day.
The brakes are a bit mleh, but OK for now. Set a good average speed for the terrain.
This bike is a bargain!
Just to say I've had couple of rides on mine now and as said already it's a bargain at £550
I swapped brakes out for slx and fitted my own exotic carbon bars also running tubeless .. Popped an 18t on back too and super easy to adjust eccentric too 🙂

does anyone have a link to buy the tool to change the lock rng as I also have a new cog waiting to go on. I look like scooby doo runing away from a ghost I'm spinning so fast 🙂
It's just a standard lock ring you can get a proper tool but I just use small punch/old screwdriver and hammer to tap it loose then spin off with fingers..
Mine came off very easy
