^^^^ what he said . I wouldn't mind a fatter bike . Just not a full on fat bike ! 4" tyres are too much IMHO .
For more gravity orientated stuff it does appear the industry is migrating towards 27.5 or 27.5+ for those that want a larger outer diameter. Wouldn't mind trying the latter when some decent tyres become available.

You'll probably need to enable the Flash plugin if you are using a newish Firefox.
Still think the slate is going to struggle with the lack of tyre options.
