Some major tree felling near the start of the monkey, noticed quite a few substantial branches had been laid out next to the side of the trail as though they were readied to lay across the trail...

Do you mean alongside over the rainbow? Naaaah, it's been like that for weeks, think it's to give the other side of the track a chance to harden up. Lots of deforestation alongside deerskull though but at least they left the bit alone where it goes into the dark trees.
