[#6313054]

I'm working nights at Shrewsbury and my journey home can take me via Cannock, so I've thrown the bike in my truck.

I'll be getting there around 4.30-5am though and Birches Valley CP doesn't open until 7.30. Where's best/easiest/safest to park?

Not interested in finding any doggers and even less interested in finding any local chavs.

Thanks and will I die?

Try parking at the bottom of the monkey trail, where you'd normally cross the railway and main road.

This means nothing to me, but I shall peruse a map and have a look. Cheers

Or up at the Pine Cafe or whatever it's called now a bit further up the road?

Marquis drive is right beside the end of the dog and very easy to join on to and do the final section to the shop, there is also a car park by the campsite called penkridge bank I beleive which I use a lot. As Blob said you can also park just off the Hendsford road (I think) at the water works and just do the monkey or cross the road and do the dog too!

Marquis drive visitor centre doesn't close. You join the dog almost exactly half way round. I'll be there tomorrow, but not until 5:45ish.
