Could someone please let me know how to get to the off road parking area at the bottom of what I think is lower cliff at Cannock.
There's a water treatment centre at the same place.
doubt you'll be able to park, looks closed as building stuff there for the new bridge.
Is there anywhere else over that way? Maybe the downhill area would be cool??
Its on the road between hendnesford and rugely on the right jst after a sign saying cyclists crossing.the parking has been reduced with the building wrk so you would have to get there early on a weekend but should be ok for night rides.i always park tbere if im only riding the monkey.

There is a layby a bit further along towards Rugeley too.
You just want to avoid Kit Bag Hill don't you - ha!
Thats bits called Moors Gorse.
A bit of a ride away but you could park in the stile cop car park and ride down. Theres also a layby down that road (the one you cross to get to the lower cliff bits) you could probably park in
May as well park at the VC and just ride down and then back up Kit Bag.
