Maybe going at the weekend, how muddy is it? are minions over kill? spesh eskars or nevegals are the other options.

Any pics of the trails?

Dry, mud tyres would be overkill.

Here's a video someone made very recently. (Can't embed though for some reason, mod restrictions?)

Even the nearby trails by Castle Ring are dry at the moment, that only happens when everything is super dry and fast...

neilsonwheels- it's great, it acts like a honey pot and all the other trails are lovely and quiet.

I did a couple of laps of both yesterday and the trails were riding by far the best I've ever known them ride!

Dry and fast but not too dusty.

I think they've come out of the abysmal winter better off!

I've been fancying a trip down the M6 to Cannock for a while... whats peoples reccommendations to ride? No idea of what options there are... Heard of a pretty special final descent on one of the trails? Would have a full day there so want to capture as much riding as possible!

Fanblummintastic at the moment, tyres wont matter as much now its this good. I'm still on my Minion DHF Front and Medusa rear.

Ok still a mud steup but they still grip more than i need and havent had the front or rear break away for sometime now.

Will do Rich - think you've offered that before but still not pulled my finger out and got down. Next couple of months though I'm going to try and make the trip!
